The testing of compressed gas cylinders and bundles is a standard safety function for Wystrach. Tests are regularly carried out in our workshops by an expert in compliance with ADR/TPED-requirements.

We use the latest non-destructive (!) test methods such as ultrasonic testing to detect material defects such as cracks, inclusions, or similar faults as this method offers considerable advantages compared to other process and at various levels at the same time:

• Enables reliable and essential sorting of critical cylinders.
• Detects the slightest faults of only a few millimetres during longitudinal, transversal and wall thickness tests.
• Accurate measurement of the residual wall thickness enabling early detection of interior corrosion (main advantage compared to the water pressure test).
• Increases operating safety and minimises the risk factor.
• It all adds up! The higher test-related costs are more than balanced out by the non-destructive, operating life extending processes used.
